Aloe plant and its derivative products have played a role in medicine and health care. Aloe is a genus of plants belonging to the Asphodelaceae family, and is related to onions and asparagus. Aloe is a lily-like, green, and sometimes spiny shrub with very little, if any, stem. The Aloe genus appears naturally in Africa, although many members of the genus are popular houseplants and can be found around the world. The most famous member of the genus is Aloe Vera, known for its medicinal uses and applications. Aloe Vera can be used to heal both internally and externally. It greatly speeds the healing of many skin injuries, including ulcerations, burns, hives and poison ivy and also acts as a laxative. The juice from aloe can be dried into a dark powder composed of yellowish granules that are quite bitter to taste. Internal use of Aloe is marketed as a treatment for coughs, ulcers, muscle pain, headaches, and even cancer and HIV. The only proven Aloe Vera benefit in internal use is the relief of constipation. Additionally, even in this use, internal use of the plant has a number of side effects, can cause nausea, and should not be taken by women who may be pregnant. Aloe Vera is a cellular regenerator and has anti-bacterial and anti-fungal effects.

Aloe Vera leaves are smooth and rubbery in touching from interior and exterior. The more used part of the aloe plants are their leaves and in particular their internal transparent gel. Aloe vera is a plant that has wonderful healing and softening properties. Aloe vera contains numerous vitamins and minerals, enzymes, amino acids, natural sugars and agents which may be anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial. The combination and balance of the plant's ingredients are what purportedly gives it its healing properties. Aloe vera is a source of energy containing over 200 nutrients, including 18 amino acids and a variety of vitamins and minerals. Aloe vera gel consists primarily of water and polysaccharides (pectins, hemicelluloses, glucomannan, acemannan, and mannose derivatives). Polysaccharides are a type of carbohydrate that stimulates skin growth and repair. It also contains amino acids, lipids, sterols (lupeol, campesterol, and beta-sitosterol), tannins, enzymes. Mannose 6-phosphate is a major sugar component. Aloe latex contains compounds known as anthraquinones that stimulate the activity of the gastrointestinal tract. The anthraquinones include the hydroxyanthracene derivatives, aloins A and B, barbaloin, isobarbaloin, aloectic acid, and emodin.

Aloe vera is one of the most widely used substances in the world for the treatment of bruises and burns. Aloe Vera has been used medicinally for over 6,000 years. Aloe gel is available commercially in a stabilized gel form, incorporated into ointments, creams, and lotions. Aloe latex is available in a powdered form or in 500 mg capsules for use as a laxative. Aloe gel speeds the healing of burns (from fire, sun or radiation) and insect bites, and relieves itching and dandruff. Aloe vera heals third degree burns up to six times faster than traditional medical treatments. The aloe vera plant is intentionally a natural herb which is used for both internal and external problems like ulcers, skin rashes, burns etc.One can also have kidney problems or severe diarrhea in case of overdose of aloe vera. Make sure your goals are realistic and decide how much healthy weight loss you want to achieve and in how long. Have a mindset that you want to get healthy in order to stay healthy for the remainder of your life, not just in order to get thin within a month.  Become dedicated and persistent and you will lose weight the healthy way.

Drink plenty of water. You need to keep your body hydrated and healthy so it can carry out the natural chemical processes it needs to so that you can lose weight.

fat-loss-4-idiots-site.com is my website for people who want to lose weight.

If you are looking in to a lose weight quick program, there are a few things that you should keep in mind when making your decision:

A weight loss program should include all of the foods recommended by the United States Department of Agriculture and should allow the dieter to eat enough calories to keep their metabolism working full force.

Set goals- If the program you are looking in to wants you to write down your weight loss goals, you may have found the right diet plan. Studies have shown that by setting goals for yourself, and writing them down, you are more apt to stick with your diet and reach your goals. Try setting small goals each week (such as to eat less fat or lose 1.5 pounds), these mini goals are not as overwhelming as larger goals, like losing 50 pounds in three months, or whatever your final goal may be. Also, by achieving these smaller goals, we see that we are making progress and are more likely to continue trying than if we don't set any.

Diet pills advertisements are everywhere, from the counters to banners, magazines, websites, hoardings, electronic display board and neon signs. These weight loss drugs are getting their fair share of publicity and visibility nowadays. The media onslaught is so huge that a normal customer is baffled when it comes to take a decision to choose for him. People keep wondering about the truth behind the claims, facts, hype and myths around those promotions and press releases. Medical scientists also are critical of such campaigns as they discovered that their own clinical studies of the drugs were found to be contradictory to the claims made by the pharmaceutical companies. War of words goes on between the companies and the experts about the safe use of .

This confuses the users a lot who want to choose an effective diet pill to reduce their weight. Obesity continues to haunt many but some of the people are really scared to take weight loss pills or carb blockers, simply because of the fears that it may have some side-effects. A layman who does not know much about the drugs and the formulations of the drugs and its allergic reactions is quite baffled, and continuous bombardment of advertisements and promos only helps to increase it. Drug makers say one thing and the medical experts opine a different view altogether. In their tall claims they reject the safety concerns as hype woven around unfounded fears, whereas drug experts and scientists keep on warning the people over the use of these prescription diet pills.

There are certain drugs which are harmful, but the warning given on their labels is not sufficient to alarm a person until a stern criticism comes from a rival drug maker. This becomes even more confusing when the drug manufacturers hire the experts to deliberately put down a brand and promote their own generic version. On the websites which are dedicated to this purpose this contradiction is magnified. As they very openly denounce a product and promote a parallel drug calling it extremely safe and effective. Diet pills for women are no exception to this war of words. There are certain drugs which are unisex, but in some advertisement women are asked to stay away from a particular diet pill. However to choose the best diet pills is still not a rocket science; what you need is an impartial medical practitioner or your primary care physician, who would guide you what to take and what not to take. Make sure the practitioner is licensed and has a good reputation.
